    disable the user accounts

    Hi all,

    How can i disable the user from system?

    If you are talking about Oracle then.

    alter user username account lock;

    If you are talking about an unix/Windows/etc account when that depends on the os.

    If you are the administrator then you can easily delete the user accounts by following this path:--control panel>>>>User accounts.

    That may work for Windows, but what if they are running: Solaris, AIX, RedHat, SCO Unix, Xenix...? The original post did not describe whether the question was OS related, database related or something else. Also this post is over three months old. I'm guessing he found an answer somewhere.
