    Extend Tablespace SYSTEM

    Hello,

    one short question. Could any problem occur if I extend (500MB to 550MB) the tablespace SYSTEM in "live" production (Performance etc)?

    Ok, Thanks.. But I checked the tablespace if it is autoextensible, and I get following:
    SUBSTR(FILE_NAME,1,50) AUT
    ------------------------------------------- ---
    D:\ORA\DBNAME\SYSTEM.DBF YES
    I still have 1,1 MB space free. 99,8% are occupied. When will Oracle extend the tablespace automatically?
