    Desupported DB Versions

    Hi,

We want to sell Oracle 11g DB, And one of the selling point is its new features and the soon to be desupporting/deprecating moment for the lower versions.
Do you know when was 8i dreprecated? How about 9i? and 10g?
As I understand "deprecation" means that Oracle stopped making patches to resolve bugs on certain product, meaning it has reach a terminal patch version. am I correct?

    Thanks a lot

You are correct, unsupported doesn't mean Oracle wouldn't answer your questions, it only means they are not going to fix any new bug you find in there.

All the documents that you will need are on metalink.
Which you will have access to since you have a licensed version of Oracle.
