Problem while inserting into CLOB column

    Hi all,

i have a java program that inserts a CLOB column into my oracle table. i have taken the backup of a row from this table (an insert script) and deleted the row the my table. Again when i run the insert script (backup), it is throwing an exception "ora-01704: string literal too long" while inserting the CLOB column.

Please help as this is a show-stopper to us. Thanks in advance.

Message is pretty clear, your literal is too long... long literals have to be handled resorting to DBMS_LOB package.
