old backup style
Hi,
OS aix 5L
DB Ora 10g
We perform weekly backup (cold) using tar for oracle homes (eg /u01).
Then we make makesysb(image) backup for the OS or root ( / ), so that when the root disk get crashed, you will not reinstall the OS or adding/relinking the users and software again.
Now we have migrated our Oracle PROD to Linux OS. How do I make a "makesysb" backup for LINUX?
Thanks a lot for your kindheartedness
