    ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    Hi, we're getting this message when trying to recompile a view on a specific table, even though privileges seem to be correct. We get the same message when trying the compile using the schema owner, sys or a dba (with DBA) login. What are we missing?

    privleges on the underlying tables - post the code
