10g R2 DB linux 64-bit
Hi Friends,
I downloaded Oracle 10g R2 (10.2.0.1) Linux 64 bit.
I want to download the patch (10.2.0.3) on metalink but
I found two linux patch there:
>10.2.0.3 Linux intel (64-bit) and
>10.2.0.3 Linux x86-64 (AMD64/EM64T)
which of the two is the right patch?
Or did I find the wrong search?
Thanks a lot

You tell us... what's your platform? is it Intel or AMD?

Hi,
Its amd but my point is the base I downloaded (10.2.0.1) did not mention the two options. I only see choice of 10g 64-bit Linux.
Thanks

Sounds like your first question is answered.
As to the second question: The otn.oracle.com 64-bit Linux download is chipset agnostic as I know it installs and works on both Intel-64 and AMD64/EM64T. I recommend patching up to 10.2.0.3.
