Did you try even looking at {ALL|DBA}_TAB_STATISTICS and {ALL|DBA}_COL_STATISTICS?

What output do you mean? Check all_tab_statistics for latest 'gather stats' for the table. Dbms_stats.gather_table_stats statement updates the dictionary with the latest changes on the table, column or indexes etc. Compare the stats before and after running the dbms_stats statement, you can see the difference in num_rows column. Also check the same column in dba/user_tables.
