    Database : 10g
    O/S : RHEL 4

I am not able to locate LISTENER parameter file.

I have checked at $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin. But there is not file in this direcotry.

    listener.log is maintained in $ORACLE_HOME/network/log.

Listner is up and running. I have alos check STATUS of listner, but that also not show me directory path of listner file.

you dont need a listener.ora file to start a listener, you will end up with defaults if you dont have one

If ur listener is up & running, the command
    > lsnrctl status
will show u where ur listener parameter file is located...

    Thanks to davey23uk and divroro12.

I have already checked status and will not show parameter file location.

As davey23uk said dont need a listener.ora file to start a listener. It will take defaults.

I want to add additional parameter for standby database, so i have created listener.ora file with existing and additional parameter.
