    I ve' installed multiple versions of DB in the same machine.
    Since all have the different ORACLE_HOME and different SID name, It is woking fine.

    If I install multiple versions of DB with same SID_NAME, Is this going to be OK, as long as I use seperate ORACLE_HOME?

    Good question. I think if each have their own oracle homes, and proper environment configurations it should work.

    Make two test instances and find out :)

    I don't think so.
    SID=System Identificator.
    For example, in NT the listener in Services is identified (concatenated) with the Oracle Home name but it is not the same for instances.

    I tested.
    This did not work.
    Client can not connect to the database, for the same SID name.
