Statspack in 10g to get cost of Top SQL

I'm using statspack in 10g to get execution plan information (cost, rows, etc.) using 'old hash value' for Top SQL identified in Instance Report.

However, I'm not getting the information required from the shared pool during the snapshot period.

I'm using the scripts provided in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin. spreport.sql for instance report to identify 'old hash value' and sprepsql.sql to get more detailed information for the SQL.

    Am I missing anything here?

How can I get the cost of these Top SQL using statspack in 10g?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

You are not getting the information from the shared pool because the sql has been aged out.

    Hi

You are not getting the information from the shared pool because the sql has been aged out.

when you supply the old hash value to sprepsql.sql you will get the required cost if you have run the snapshot at level 6.
