    rmem_default|rmem_max, 10g vs. 11g

    I'm installing 11g alongside an existing 10g installation on the same server in a development environment. The lone warning I have is 11g wants rmem_default and rmem_max to be 4194304 whereas 10g only wanted 262144.

    Will 10g be ok if I increase the value?

    You should up it to what 11g requires. 10g will be OK with it.
