    how to keep objects permenantly?

    Hello,

    Can any one give me answers of following questions?

    how can oracle will decide which objects are larger and which are smaller?

    how can we keep objects permenantly in library cache with keep procedure after startup?

    Hello Davey,

    thanks for reply.

    can you explain me in deep? i want to know the internal procedure. how oracle will jusyify that particular object is large or small? what all are the things that come into picture while deciding the object sizes.

    For my second question i want some packages to be there permanantly in my system. so can you please guide me how to keep objects permanantly in library cache after startup?

    when you pin things you are stopping oracle do its job, so why do you want to pin it?
