Thread: moving tables...do i need to rebuild my indexes??

    "ALTER TABLE table_name MOVE...." command does not require to rebuild the indexes. Oracle 8.1.6 updates the indexes automatically.

    Thanks for correcting me. Indeed, I did test it only in 8.1.5.
