wait event is control file sequential read

    If you have
control file sequential read as your top wait event,
    what does it mean?
and what to do about it?
how do i find out which of the control files is the culprit?
    Thanks

    Thanks Davey,
But disks take time and my files are already on different disks...The issue has gone away but may show up again.

    You have 2 options:

    1. Store the control file on the outer edge of the disk platter.
    2. Use RAW device
