    Problem in Forms 6i

    I have create new table in schema XYZ and load some data into table.

    I have created one form in FORMS 6i in XYZ schma's new table.

    Now when I am trying to update the column value from FORM after query it does not allow and display following error.

    ORACLE error: unable to reserve record for update or delete.

    I have check the table is not locked, table beloing to same schma where i have generated FORM so no issue of prvilege.

    You need to check the form's property pallete to be sure that the update allowed, insert allowed, etc. properties are set to "YES". Review the form's and table's necessary properties for insert, delete and update are set accordingly.
