    SQL to Excel template

    Hi there,

I would like to know the procedure of automatically filling out a template with the information that is in SQL.
I have a new template in Excel and I want to map the cells to the values from SQL. How would that be accomplished?
    I would appreciate the information

    Thanks

select the columns which are in your templates from the tables and spool the data. Then you open that in excel.

If this is an user driven process you can always allow the user to connect from Excel to the database, query the desired data and have it stored in the Excel side.
