    Altering a Table Partition

    Hi..,
    I 've created a Table with out partitioning concept,
    If I want to alter that table using the range/list partition.., how can I ?
    can u please explain with syntax for this?

    There is not single command to convert a non-partitioned table into a partitioned one.

    1- Rename your_table as your_nonpart_table, drop indexes and constraints
    2- Create your_table as partitioned
    3- Populate your_table from your_nonpart_table
    4- Build indexes and constraints as needed.
    5- Gather fresh stats on your_table
