Red face ORA-1653: unable to extend table SYS.AUD$ by 3596 in tablespace SYSTEM

How can I fix that? I'm not able to login.
I've tried system/sys/ and a few other users with no success.

    Cheers

here is what I would try...

    1- getting into the database

    sqlplus /nolog
    conn sys as sysdba

If you get into the database, then...

    2- Solving the issue

Here you can do whatever you want like:
    a) truncate sys.aud$ table... or
    b) resize a system datafile to a larger size... or
    c) just add a datafile to your system tablespace.

    Hope this helps.

    Much better

Thanks very much for your kind reply.

Unfortunately I couldn't connect as sys even using the /nolog option, but then I managed to connect internal and was able to truncate the table.
Since then all started working fine, I'm now trying to disable auditing at all.
I've just restarted my database instance and I'll check my tablespace size and figure out what to do.

    Many thanks again
