lost in the grid

I'm installing grid control 10.2.0.2, happily clicking away taking the defaults for a full "out of the box" install with all components on a Windows 2003 server. After OUI declares victory with no issue reported it displays the URL I can connect to the grid with. When I try and access that URL from the server where all the components are installed I get "The page cannot be displayed".

I have a TAR open , just wondering if anyone has seen this or can offer any advice.

have you tried from your PC?

If IE security properties is set to high Grid might return the error you are facing

thanks pando, no joy from the client as well

I have discovered that we can connect http but not https. Spent some time with the Oracle Support people today and they still have no answer.
