Thread: expdp hangs for large tables

    I did gather the stats and also check the sessions are active, it creates 3 active session and 2 of the session have the above wait and 3rd session have db_sequential_read with 0s wait.

    Monitor the size of the dump file, is the dump file getting larger as time goes by?

    Yes: your process is working and writting on the file.

    Do you have free space in the affected filesystem or is it full?

    yes, I do have enough free space at dumpfile location. Also I am only doing estimate disk space. When I drop the unique key the estimation part does work, but estimation hangs as soon as I add unique key constraint.
