    Patch Udation problem

    Hi friends,
    i have two node,and the database is stored in a common location,in the two nodes oracle software is installed,and only one node is having the database,when one node is down using the windows cluster then other node will up automatically.
    i updated patch for one node,and here the oracle is 10g release 2,while am trying to apply patch for the second node it is trowing error.
    plz help me
