    how do i create a network between two databases on same computer

    i am facing certain problems when i am trying to configure network between two different databases running on same computer. is it possible to do so with same host name probably local host ...........?????? plz help

    can you please give me the settings for Listener.ora and tnsnames.ora coz i already tried with dblink but didnt work............two different databases on same machine.................?????????

    you say it didnt work, but havent provided what you did or any errors, there really is nothing special about two databases on one machine, standard setup is fine
