    History of Instance startup and shutdown

    Dear All,
    i want to have history of an oracle instance startup for last Six month

    e.g

    STARTUP_TIME
    --------------
    9/1/07 3:36 PM
    8/31/07 9:25 PM
    8/3/07 4:23 PM
    7/28/07 10:26 AM
    4/6/07 6:21 PM
    3/28/07 8:34 PM
    3/19/07 1:10 AM
    3/16/07 12:48 PM
    3/14/07 12:11 PM

    can anybody help me in this regard?

    look in your alert log, database doesnt store this time (unless you do)

    Sorry about the typo; what the user wants to track are startup/shutdown operations.

    you always get auditing files for sysdba logins, cant turn those off
