oracle export 10G to 9i

Hi GUys

Please can some one help on how to do export for oracle database from version 10G to 9i;

I have a 9i database and I want to import from 10G and use this dump in the version 9i.

Please advise.

But I try to use the exp.exe for version 9.i to do the export for 10G. and it does not work.

So please more details will be welcome.

What problem are you facing?

What happen when you are trying to take export?

I have error message about some DLL missing....for this version of export. so is like oracle expect all the necessary dll files to complete this export...

same thing happen when I use the imp.exe file for version 10G to import into
9i.... it request: oracommon10.dll

have you installed the client correctly

the problem is not even the client, because I have not install the dump yet, to use client version to access database; right now I'am just trying to import a dump that was created by oracle 10G into oracle 9i. and the import process cannot finish because the oracle version for import and export is not the same.

You cannot not import dmp file created by 10g exp.exe in 9i

Take export of oracle 10g database using Oracle 9i exp.exe.

that was done but as I said above, there is error msg about some of the DLL missing; when you try to use exp.exe for 9.i on 10G.
