    Regd sqlldr-very urgent

Hi, I have 2 txt files say J1.txt, J2.txt,they are actually job file. now i have these files of data with a comma separated. Can some body tell me how to load these 2 txt files into 2 new tables? My question is, while creating the new 2 tables, shud the table columns be the same data types as that of the data in the text files? Please respond immediately. If so.... can some one write the scripts as an example and show me how to load these comma separated data files into tables.

whats wrong with the sql load manuals which have examples, and the examples that are delivered with your oracle installation?

    Hi orcl11

Have you considered using external tables to access the files directly?
If it is an option check the following article for a simple example.

    Hope it helps
