    ORA-12571:TNS: Packet Writer Failure

    Hi, I am getting TNS:Packet Writer Failure error. I checked tnsnames.ora, it is correct. All other users are able to connect except this user. What is the reason? I can also ping to the oracle database server from this user.

    Do a tnsping to the db?

    Check the listener log for connections from this user.
