online tablespace backup was interrupted by a system failure

Hi

Does anyone know how to recover from an system failure when perfoming online backup?

Two possibilities.

1. With instance mounted, isue
ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 'filexxx' END BACKUP;
for all the files of the tablespace that was in backup mode.

2. Restore the previous backup of datafiles and recover the database as usually.

In both cases youl'll get the database in the state it was immediately before the crash.
