    Dear All,

    I have a Dataguard Setup with managed recovery.

    Yesterday i got the below error in alert.log of Primary:

    After which the Log shipping stopped to the Standby Location and archives are not generated on the Primary Site Also.

    However after i cancel the managed recovery on STandby database and defer the log_archive_dest_state_2 on primary database, it starts generating archives on primary.

    Please advise as to how to got about resolving this issue, so that things return to normal state.

    try following;
    restart the machine,
    or else try creating new service with oradim

    this should solve your problem
