    RAC 10g, Load balancer and JBOSS

    Hi there,

    is there anybody who would be able to help me with the connection configuration so that I would be able to connect from Jboss through the load balancer to the two node cluster (10g)?

    There are questions like ... do we really need load balancer with RAC 10g? Or can we use workload management that rac 10g offers.
    Secondly load balancer was configured in a way that there is one IP to which you can connect from Jboss side. Can you configure Jboss so that it will use service_name instead of SID for connection?

    If there is one that could help me with some more questions I would really appreciate.

    how does jboss connect is it via the thin jdbc client? if so just change the jdbc url to point direectly at the RAC Ip Addresses
