    error ora-04030 out of process memory when trying to allocate 460 bytes

    When I am trying to query "select start_scn,commit_scn from flashback_Transaction_query where table_owner='SH1';" getting this error.
    ERROR:
    ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 460 bytes (Logminer
    LCR c,krvxbpdl)

    Please help me.

    check the 'free memory' in v$sgastat and size the shared pool accordingly

    My shared pool free memory is 27238308. How can set the shared pool accordingly...?I am new,plz help me.

    4030 is related to your PGA, check your oracler user's ulimit values

    also state what platform is this

    OS is Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 1.
    RAM - 2GB.Intel Xeon

    Support Pando, it seems to be the PGA. On WIndows it could be physical memory shortage. What do u think people?
