    Exclamation Listener is going down frequently

    Hi,
    We are facing issue with listener.
    Listener is going down frequently.
    After Every 2 hrs it is going down and thus affecting the work.

    Version :8i
    box: Solaris

    Can anybody help me to sort this issue.

    listener.log file, located at ORACLE_HOME/network/log will be of much use here
    Also if it does not helps, u can try setting trc_level to 8 or 16 at listener.ora and restart the listener to see what the trace files will show

    Is your root filesystem full?
