    Sum

    Hi;
    I was trying to get a result out of this sql by using SUM

    Select name, value from v$sysstat
    Where name in ('redo log space requests', 'redo entries');

    I would like to find out redo log space requests / redo entries
    Then display that value. How can I accomplish this?
    Thanks!

    Don't know what you want to accomplish but your query already shows total values for both items; no sum() is needed.

    Thanks

    Ok, I think I got confused with what was being pulled with that query. Thanks!
