i am talome yadua from nigeria, i have just finished oracle 10g DBA training and certification and i am desperately looking for a job as a DBA, i dont have a degree yet, is there any advice you can give me on the prospects of getting a job.thank you.
I am presently studying toward a degree in informatics in south africa and my major area of specilization is system analyses and design, database design and implementation. I am also OCP 9i certified without any experience, i need advise conerning areas i need to know well in other to gain employment as a fresher.
You will at least need a degree, preferably a Bachelors in an IT field. It's gonna be tough without a 4-year degree. Then you should look for Jr. Oracle DBA positions. Pay will be very low, but you need to start somewhere.

i am Junior DBA. and fresher. and also prepare for OCP.
i am searching job as a Junior DBA.
but i have no exprience as a Junior DBA in oracle field.but i am in software field.
my Qualification is :- M.COM.;MCM(Master of copmuter Management); And OCA(Oracle Certification Associate).
