    Question Emon error in 10g RAC

    Hi,

    I have an Oracle 10g (10.2.0.1) RAC database system on two Enterprise Linux nodes. Both nodes seem running normally. But in the alert.log file on each node, there are tons of this error sometimes: 'Emon purge encountered error 29970'.

    I tried google and Metalink but didn't find anything. Any ideas what caused this error?

    oerr ora 29970
    29970, 00000, "Specified registration id does not exist"
    // *Cause: An incorrect regid value was passed to dbms_chnf procedure.
    // *Action: pass the correct regid value.
