Thread: monitor trigger execution

    Need to find a way to monitor a triggers execution time. I'm assuming that the "base" SQL / transaction encompasses the triggers execution time as well. Need to pull that out. Also, if there is a way to identify the SQL for the trigger (V$SQLAREA?), that would also be beneficial.

    The trigger is a block of SQL, which SHOULD turn up in any trace file for using TKPROF.

    that should show you the time, I believe.
