    Database cloning

    Hi,

My current version of oracle is 9.2.0.8.
I'm going to do database refresh by cloning
method with the database whose oracle version
    is 9.2.0.6.During cloning,do i've to follow
the normal steps or any other additional steps
i've to follow due to this version difference?
If anyone has any idea, please let me know.

    Thanks..

Dave, he said it is 9.0.8. He takes files from 9.2.0.6 and moves to a machine where 9.2.0.8 is installed
    Right?

BTW if you try to take the files from 9.2.0.8 and move them to 9.2.0.6 software, I guess it will not work.
And one more thing, why don't you upgrade your 9.2.0.6 to 9.2.0.8? That will simplify the task with practically no cons.

    Regards
