    Oracle syntax help

    Hi,

    In DB2,it's possible to get help for "CREATE DATABASE" or
    any oracle other statement's syntax in the db2 command prompt
    itself,but in Oracle I couldn't find anything like this?
    Is there anyway to get help for Oracle statements as like DB2?

    Thanks

    Look at the environment... you are typing in commands on a Unix prompt or writting your script on "vi", how could they know what are you trying to do?

    On the other hand, have you tried OEM?

    Its a learning process for life

    RTM then practice
    If errors
    go (back) to Manual
    read
    then (get cleared)
    and execute;

    Doing things on the fly with out knowing what and how, then Oracle is not your cup of Coffee
