analyze table and errors

i had a problem with analyze table
after analyze all my tables my application under access 97 fail with ora 1041 hostdef does not exist!!!
if i delete the stats the problem dissapear!

i'm working with 8.0.4 and no specification of rules

it could well be Oracle's CBO bug: I know at least one case when deleting statistics on particular table helped to avoid ORA-1331.

What version of oracle are you running ?

and it also depends whether your application is running cost or rule based Iptimizer.
