error 610 in job queue process ORA-00610: Internal error code

Hi,

There was connectivity problem to database server (oracle 10gR2) and the error details from the log aer as below.

error 610 in job queue process ORA-00610: Internal error code
Died during process startup with error 447 (seq=36013)
OPIRIP: Uncaught error 447. Error stack:
ORA-00447: fatal error in background process.

To resolve this we need to restart the database server.
Anyone faced this problem ? what could be the resopn for this.

maybe you have reached O.S. file open limit.

ORA-00447 most likely tells you one of you Oracle processes is cold-dead... you might want to bounce your system.
