I am using oracle 10g XE in windows 2003 server, i often see the below messages
in the event logger when i stop or start the ORACLE
"The description for Event ID ( 34 ) in Source ( Oracle.xe ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: ACTION : 'CONNECT' DATABASE USER: '/' PRIVILEGE : SYSDBA CLIENT USER: CLIENT TERMINAL: STATUS: 0 ."
I am just worried whether this will cause any problems to the server. Any one know what this messages means and why these messages are appearing in the logs..
