    Red face

    Hello,
I have created a new database and I have to create some tables in this database. I don't have any idea how to size these tables.
Are there any rules of thumb or a way that will help me to size these tables? If yes, please show me.
    Thanks.

    Hi

Before you size tables , have an idea of the number of rows that you estimate to fill in that and the size of each row. This will give you an idea of the size and whether it will be regularly updated or not will let you set
    the pct free,pct used .

For a big table to reduce fragmenatation give a large initial and a small next .

    regards
