9iAS install

Hi Friends,

After successfull installation of 9iAS, I noticed some remarks on the
installation screen :

The Enterprise Manager Console can be accessed using the following URL:

http://SERVER01.MANILA.COM:1810

And when I tried to browse this URL, it opened a login screen like

Please type your username and password

Site: SERVER01.MANILA.COM
Realm : Enterprise-Manager
Userid:
Password:

What password does it asked here? I don't remember any password I entered
anymore

How do I change the password of enterprise manager console?

the password you entered when you installed it

the user id will be ias_admin

Thanks dear... its confusing....I also use it (ias_admin) when It ask for Instance Name for the developers kit. Ok I try it ...wait a minute

Oh my goodness....I can't believe its happening to me again
the login screen just cleared the password and nothing happened. No error
diplayed.
You know dear I encountered this many times too in the database control
set-up.
I have intalled and reinstalled maybe 10 times 10gR2 and each time i run
the database control login:

http://SERVER01:1158/em
Database Control

Login to Database :ORCL
Username: SYSTEM
Password : Manager
Connect as: Normal

Then it will clear the screen and nothing happens...all my db control behaved
this way...and now the IAS too? what could be wrong pleaseeeee.
I havent succeeded connecting to this emctl thing.

ias_admin and use the password you entered on install - it is nothing to do with dbconsole and nothing to do with the database

yes dear i know....i just mean to say they behave the same...when I entered
my ias_admin password nothing happens the login screen just prompt new
entry or it just say "401 Unauthorized"
