    Microsoft Access, link to external data sources probably can be used too

    Sounds like you have a MS solution and an Oracle solution...

    There used to be a really cool excel add-on called Second Wind that would tie ODBC databases to Excel really nicely...

    If it were me, I would create insert statements in the excel spreadsheet, then copy/paste them to sqlplus. In the column next to the data, 'insert into tablename '|| ... &A1... bla bla

    If this is one time task, you may want to go to www.benthicsoftware.com and download a tool called golden. It has a nice rxp-imp utility and you can upload/download data from csv/text files easily.
