How to import data from excel table to Oracle/SQL table?
csv, external tables or sqlloader
Microsoft Access, link to external data sources probably can be used too
One, who thinks that the other one who thinks that know and does not know, does not know either!
Sounds like you have a MS solution and an Oracle solution...
There used to be a really cool excel add-on called Second Wind that would tie ODBC databases to Excel really nicely...
If it were me, I would create insert statements in the excel spreadsheet, then copy/paste them to sqlplus. In the column next to the data, 'insert into tablename '|| ... &A1... bla bla

If this is one time task, you may want to go to www.benthicsoftware.com and download a tool called golden. It has a nice rxp-imp utility and you can upload/download data from csv/text files easily.
