    Parfile in the DOS Mode

    Please any help me to create parfile=(parameter file) in the DOS mode to run and how I can run it AUTOMATICALLY when my server will be boot in the begin the day.

    are you referring to imp/exp parfiles dear ? they are just the same in all
    platforms e.g. UNIX and Windows....try imp help=y

    Thanks jannifer for your prompt answer in this regards. Please let me know how to create parfile and how they call in the command prompt if so it will be really highly appreciated.

    just edit a parfile (e.g par1.txt) using notepad and put:

    userid=system/manager
    full=y

    then at dos prompt

    c:\ exp parfile=par1.txt
