ORA-01122: problem

Dears,

I am new to oracle,
i tried to move oracle from server to server
I did cold backup and after the restore i tried to startup the oracle i have the following:

ORA-01207: file is more recent than controlfile - old controlfile


SQL> Disconnected

Database "OW03" warm started
#############################
i checked teh size for teh file i found it on old and new server is 0

How can i solve this problem

The backup was not sufficiently cold :-)
Do
Shutdown immediate
wait the system to get down, then make sure you copy all the data files, control file and redo logs and pfile where appropriate, and you should start
