    Migrate Foxpro DB to Oracle

    Hi Friends,

    Anyone there have experience in migrating data from Foxpro to
    Oracle please. I tried to convert it to .csv but lots of fields
    have " & , inside in too making it erroneous in loading.

    and what does erroneous mean in this context? if you don't post errors how can anyone help you

    well the most common error I encounter is ( well in .csv usuallly the character fields are enclosed in (") doulble quotes and separated by
    (,) comma.) when there is comma within comma and quote within quotes....it will give mismatch enclosure of quotes

    Why can't you create an odbc connection to the oracle database and copy the data directly to Oracle?

    I know ODBC is for MSSQL only, I don't know if there is one for Foxpro, would you know dear

    I don't know which version of Foxpro that you are running, but if you google it!!! You should find what you need.

    Y'know, in a few posts 'yxez', you will have advisor status, meaning you probably ought to be answering more questions than you ask... and you should probably stop asking for things that can be easily found by Google/Metalink by then too.

    Hi I found some tips ...it says i have to migrate it to MS-Access first but I dont know to convert dbf to MS-access too?
