On one of my database, i have the following info when a archive log is created:

Thu Feb 1 08:47:41 2007
ARC1: Creating local archive destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1: '/OraArch1/0000083462_0001_558637064.arc' (thread 1 sequence 83462)
(crn_prod)
ARCH: Connecting to console port...
Thu Feb 1 08:47:45 2007
ARC1: Closing local archive destination LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1: '/OraArch1/0000083462_0001_558637064.arc'
(crn_prod)
ARCH: Connecting to console port...
Committing creation of archivelog '/OraArch1/0000083462_0001_558637064.arc'

Why all this info?
Is this a auditing feature?
I have difficulty spotting real errors because i have too much lines concerning archive log generation.

How to get back to normal message will having a archive log creation?
