RMAN on win2003 can't read network drive

Running RMAN duplicate on node B (win2003, 9.2.0.6) reading from RMAN backups on network share drive L on different node node C(since node B doesn't have space to hold backups). Both Oracle.exe and listener processes on duplicate node B are running under admin O/S account and have 'logon as batch' and 'logon as service' privileges, and the O/S account can fully access the drive share from node B. But I get the following error even though the RMAN file is available...any help? I can't use UNC mappings since RMAN backup info in controlfile / catalog driving recovery process contains absolute path of "L:\RMAN\ORCL\L0\
